Matija Ćetković to present debut poetry collection in Bar

Matija Ćetković, a young author from Bar, Montenegro, is set to present his debut poetry collection, ‘Moj svijet u mojoj glavi’ (My World in My Head), on Saturday, September 12. The literary event will take place at 7:00 PM near the Old Olive tree (Stara maslina), a significant local landmark.

The program is expected to feature guests from the literary world, including professors and musicians, with the evening moderated by journalist Anđela Kostić. Ćetković, a student at the Secondary School of Economics and Catering in Bar, noted that his work draws inspiration from local landscapes such as the sea, Lovćen, and Old Bar.

In recent discussions, Ćetković expressed that his collection aims to encourage younger generations to embrace writing. He described his creative process as a series of internal phases, where poems are refined privately before undergoing professional proofreading.
