Matija Kopić plans launch of ecological beef from Borovača farm

Matija Kopić, co-founder of Gideon, is developing Borovača, a regenerative farm in Slavonia, Croatia. The project aims to integrate technology, automation, and regenerative agriculture, with plans to release the first quantities of ecological beef in the spring of 2027.

Kopić has shared lessons learned during the two-year development of the farm, noting the importance of transparency, direct customer relationships, and the presence of motivated young people in rural areas. He also highlighted challenges regarding regulatory systems and the need for better marketing and infrastructure management in the agricultural sector.
