Matilde Terenzi wins gold for San Marino in Spain

Matilde Terenzi secured a gold medal for San Marino in the Junior Women’s Slide category at the Quixote Inline Freestyle World Cup 2026 held in Spain. After navigating a challenging qualification process and intense semifinals, Terenzi competed in a high-level final against three Ukrainian athletes. Despite a technical error during her second slide, the rules allowed the invalid execution to be discarded, enabling her to win based on the overall quality of her performance.

San Marino’s roller sports delegation also saw success with Tommaso Terenzi, who reached the Junior Men’s final after qualifying through the quarterfinals and semifinals.
