Mato Grosso announces new internships and university scholarships

Various educational and professional development opportunities have been announced in Mato Grosso, Brazil. The “Jovem Talento” program, a partnership between the Mato Grosso State Government, the State Secretariat of Education (Seduc-MT), and the Instituto Euvaldo Lodi (IEL MT), is offering 189 paid internship positions across 77 municipalities. The program targets public school students aged 16 and older, providing stipends of R$ 709.24 for 20-hour weeks or R$ 1,059.24 for 25-hour weeks. Selected participants will receive additional training in areas such as Excel, communication, and innovation.

Separately, the State University of Mato Grosso (Unemat) has opened applications for 155 university extension scholarships. These positions are divided into 140 undergraduate scholarships valued at R$ 700 per month and 15 graduate scholarships valued at R$ 1,225 per month. The projects cover diverse fields including health, technology, environment, and human rights, with a commitment period lasting through December 2027.
