Mato Grosso boosts job listings and free vocational training

The Mato Grosso state employment system (Sine-MT) announced 2,149 new job openings for the week, spanning roles such as hydraulic maintenance mechanic, forklift repairer, census collector, dental assistant, industrial electrician and many others across cities including Cuiabá, Várzea Grande, Nova Mutum, Primavera do Leste and Confresa. The posting includes 16 positions reserved for people with disabilities.

A separate initiative by the state government and the Lucas do Rio Verde municipality, together with Senai, awarded certificates to 27 participants who completed free courses in Mechanical Turning and Production Control & Programming under the "Ser Família Capacita" programme. The training is intended to match local industry needs and improve employability for residents, including recent graduates and an immigrant from Haiti.

Both efforts aim to increase labour market participation in Mato Grosso by expanding immediate job opportunities and providing vocational qualifications.
