Mato Grosso Court Projects Finalists in National Justice Communication Award
Two projects from the Tribunal de Justiça de Mato Grosso (TJMT) have been selected as finalists for the 2026 National Communication and Justice Award, organized by the Fórum Nacional de Comunicação e Justiça (FNCJ). The AI‑driven initiative “Entenda a Sua Audiência” creates videos and simple guides to explain civil and criminal hearings, conciliation sessions, and virtual court procedures, aiming to make justice more accessible to citizens. The podcast “Órfãos do Feminicídio” features three interviews with Lili de Grammont, discussing her personal story and advocacy against gender‑based violence; the series is distributed to 72 partner radio stations and streaming platforms.
The award received 421 entries from 75 institutions across 24 Brazilian states. Winners will be announced at the 20th Brazilian Congress of Communication Advisors (Conbrascom), to be held July 29‑31 in João Pessoa, Paraíba, under the theme “The power of communication in the reputation of justice.”
