Mato Grosso deputies allocate funds for regional sports projects

State deputies in Mato Grosso are directing public funds toward various sports initiatives and infrastructure.

Deputy Max Russi highlighted his efforts to allocate resources for sports infrastructure across several municipalities. His contributions include funding for gymnasiums and the installation of the first illuminated society football field in Santo Antônio do Leste. Russi also noted support for social projects involving judo and taekwondo.

Separately, Deputy Júlio Campos has allocated R$ 250,000 through a parliamentary amendment to fund footvolley and beach volleyball competitions. This funding is part of a R$ 350,000 partnership with the State Secretariat of Culture, Sport, and Leisure (Secel). The resources will be managed by the Associação Comunitária de Comunicação, Cultura, Esportes e Lazer (ACCECEL) to support the Copa Búfalo de Futevôlei in Várzea Grande and the 1ª Copa Cuiabá de Vôlei de Praia in Cuiabá.
