Mato Grosso do Sul athletes earn state selection spots

Athletes from Três Lagoas and Cassilândia have earned recognition following the Jogos Escolares da Juventude de Mato Grosso do Sul.

In Três Lagoas, volleyball players Ketlen Borborema, Yasmin Bernal, and Ana Clara Castro have been called up for a selection process. This follows the team's bronze medal performance in the state competition, where they defeated Nova Andradina. The three athletes are now competing for a spot among the ten players who will represent the Mato Grosso do Sul state team at the Brazilian Championship in Foz do Iguaçu.

In Cassilândia, the handball team secured second place in the state competition held in Campo Grande. As a result of their performance, four athletes from the municipality and coach Danilo Marçal have been selected to join the Mato Grosso do Sul State Handball Selection.
