Mato Grosso do Sul deputy criticizes highway and energy concessionaires

During a session of the Legislative Assembly of Mato Grosso do Sul (ALEMS), Deputy Caravina (PSDB) criticized the performance of service concessionaires operating in the state.

Caravina addressed issues regarding the maintenance of highways within the Rota da Celulose, noting that areas such as the BR-267 suffer from lack of upkeep and overgrown vegetation. He indicated plans to meet with the State Agency for the Regulation of Public Services (AGEMS) to discuss the concession.

Additionally, the deputy criticized the electricity provider Energisa for failing to meet deadlines for restoring power following heavy storms in regions like Vale do Ivinhema and Costa Leste. He noted that power restoration often takes 48 hours or longer due to a lack of effective service providers.
