Mato Grosso do Sul Foundation for Culture announces public hearings for PNAB funding
The Mato Grosso do Sul Foundation for Culture (FCMS) is organizing public hearings to plan the allocation of resources for the third cycle of the National Aldir Blanc Policy (PNAB). These in-person meetings will take place in ten hub cities to gather input from the cultural sector to inform the 2027 Resource Application Plan (PAR).
The initiative aims to mobilize participation across all 79 municipalities in the state. The collection of contributions is scheduled to occur from October 26 to November 3, 2026. Eduardo Mendes, the president of FCMS, stated that the regional hearings are intended to listen to various artistic languages and understand the specific needs of each territory to ensure future calls for projects strengthen cultural production throughout the state.
Participation is open to artists, producers, cultural workers, managers, collectives, civil society organizations, and social movements. Eligible participants include individuals, non-formalized collectives, and both for-profit and non-profit legal entities related to culture.
