Mato Grosso do Sul holds public hearings for Aldir Blanc cultural policy

The Mato Grosso do Sul Culture Foundation (FCMS) has launched a series of public hearings for the third cycle of the National Aldir Blanc Policy for Cultural Promotion (PNAB). These meetings aim to gather input from artists, producers, collectives, and cultural managers to inform the 2027 Resource Application Plan (PAR).

Recent sessions were held in Naviraí and Dourados, involving participants from several surrounding municipalities. The initiative seeks to identify regional needs, evaluate access to funding, and design appropriate support formats for diverse cultural segments.

Upcoming hearings are scheduled in Três Lagoas on November 3, which will serve as a hub for several other municipalities, including Bataguassu, Água Clara, and Selvíria. The goal is to ensure that future state cultural edicts and public policies are closely aligned with the specific realities of local cultural workers.
