Mato Grosso do Sul integrates culture and sports into development plan

Governor Eduardo Riedel has integrated culture, sports, and youth initiatives into the 2027–2030 Government Plan for Mato Grosso do Sul. The strategy aims to use these sectors as tools for social inclusion, dignity, and quality of life, particularly within vulnerable communities.

The plan treats cultural and sporting activities not as peripheral services, but as essential pathways for community development, citizenship, and violence prevention. By linking local identity and creative economy with income generation, the administration seeks to expand the reach of these policies across all regions of the state.
