Mato Grosso do Sul mayors join innovation mission in Singapore
A delegation of 22 mayors from Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, is participating in an international mission to Singapore to study advanced public management and innovation models. Organized by Sebrae/MS through the Cidade Empreendedora program, the initiative aims to bring international expertise in urban planning, technology, and sustainable development back to Brazilian municipalities.
The delegation, which includes mayors such as Cassiano Maia of Três Lagoas and Rodrigo Freitas of Cassilândia, is focusing on strategic sectors including public health, security, urban mobility, and tourism. During the mission, officials visited the Singapore Tourism Board and the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) to observe how the city-state integrates housing, infrastructure, and economic development through long-term urban planning.
