Mato Grosso do Sul municipalities complete school infrastructure projects

Municipalities in Mato Grosso do Sul have completed significant infrastructure improvements for local schools. In Nova Mutum, the Jorge Carlos Ferreira Municipal School in the Pontal do Marape community received a 725-square-meter expansion. The project, costing approximately R$ 2.8 million, added administrative spaces including a library, computer room, and teacher areas, as well as three new classrooms with private bathrooms.

In Corumbá, the Porto Esperança Rural Integral Education School underwent a general renovation. This project was a partnership between the local government, LHG Mining, and the Sanesul sanitation company. The revitalization included structural reinforcements, painting, new doors and windows, roof replacement, and a complete overhaul of the hydraulic system. The school serves students from early childhood through the 9th grade in a riverside area of the Pantanal region.
