Campo Grande Extends Registration Deadline for 46th Open Games

The Fundação Municipal de Esportes (Funesp) in Campo Grande has extended the registration deadline for the 46th edition of the Open Games to Wednesday, 5 August. The extension aims to allow more teams to participate in the municipal competition that selects the city’s representatives for the state Open Games of Mato Grosso do Sul.

Available slots remain in women’s basketball (5), men’s basketball (5), women’s futsal (10), women’s handball (4), men’s handball (1) and women’s volleyball (1). Entries must be submitted through the online forms on the Funesp portal and delivered in person to the foundation’s office on Rua Dr. Paulo Machado, 663, Santa Fé, between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Participants must be at least 16 years old and represent clubs, schools, companies, cooperatives or other community entities. Each athlete is also required to donate one kilogram of non‑perishable food (excluding salt), which will be directed to municipal social programs. The Games are scheduled to begin in August, promoting team integration, competitive sport development and community health in Campo Grande.
