Funtrab warns of job scams exploiting its name in Mato Grosso do Sul

The Fundação do Trabalho de Mato Grosso do Sul (Funtrab) issued a public alert that fraudsters are using the agency’s name and that of partner companies to offer false job opportunities. Victims are being asked to pay for courses, training, fees or guarantees of employment. Funtrab stresses that all its services – registration, job referral, document issuance, professional qualification and participation in selection processes – are free and no deposits, transfers, PIX or other payments are ever required. The agency advises anyone contacted for such payments to stop the interaction, not to pay, and to verify the information through official channels, such as the Casas do Trabalhador or the Funtrab website (www.funtrab.ms.gov.br). It also recommends filing a police report (Boletim de Ocorrência) and contacting the hotline (WhatsApp/phone (67) 3320‑1400). The warning aims to protect workers and employers from scams that misuse the institution’s credibility.
