Mato Grosso expands tech park, health services and public hiring across the state

The state government inaugurated the Parque Tecnológico Mato Grosso in Várzea Grande, investing R$ 3.199 million and opening a new 1,900‑meter paved access road, with Governor Otaviano Pivetta in attendance. A new headquarters for the State Environmental Secretariat (Sema) was opened in Tangará da Serra, built with roughly R$ 2.4 million from the Amazon Fund and state resources.

The Saúde Digital MT program has delivered over 637 000 tele‑diagnostics, more than 17 000 tele‑consultations and saved an estimated R$ 650 million by avoiding patient travel. The government also launched the Decolando aviation training program for 20 public‑school students, aiming to increase female pilots.

Multiple public‑sector hiring drives were announced: UNEMAT opened a selection for university professors; Funsat posted 901 job vacancies in Campo Grande; Campo Grande and Várzea Grande held convocations for health‑sector staff; Cuiabá called for doctors and a civil engineer to reinforce its health network; and a Jovem Aprendiz program in Campo Verde offers 15 apprenticeships. Additionally, the mayor of Rondonópolis publicly endorsed Governor Pivetta ahead of the October elections.
