The State Education Department expanded high‑speed internet to remote schools, installing Starlink satellite kits in 83 indigenous, quilombola and rural schools, with a target of 100 schools by July. The service provides 2 TB of priority data per school.
The Secretariat of Culture, Sport and Leisure launched the regional phases of the School and Student Games on 20 June in Sinop and Confresa, involving more than 2 000 athletes, coaches and officials competing in basketball, futsal, handball and volleyball.
The Environment Secretariat, together with police, seized 184 illegal fish units and several kilograms of wild‑meat in Luciara and Santa Terezinha, imposing fines of over R$ 53 000 and donating the seized fish to local charities.
