The Mato Grosso Football Federation (FMF) is facing a financial crisis involving debts exceeding R$ 250,000. These outstanding payments relate to referee fees and travel expenses for more than 250 matches.

According to reports, the lack of reimbursement for travel costs has forced referees and assistants to use their own resources to move between municipalities. This situation has led to professional departures and raises concerns regarding the organization of upcoming competitions, including the 2027 Mato Grosso Championship.
