Mato Grosso Government Journalism Prize registration open until November 5

The Government of Mato Grosso has opened registration for the 2nd edition of its Journalism Prize. Journalists and photographers can submit their work for free until November 5.

The competition aims to recognize journalistic productions that highlight public policies and developments within the state. The theme for this edition focuses on actions that make Mato Grosso an example of success in Brazil. Categories include Print, Internet, Video, Audio, and Photography.

Financial rewards for the winners are significant, with first place in each category receiving R$ 50,000, second place receiving R$ 35,000, and third place receiving R$ 20,000. All prize amounts are net values. Eligible content must have been published between April 1, 2026, and November 5, 2026.
