Mato Grosso government reaches 71% execution of priority goals

The Government of Mato Grosso has achieved an average execution rate of 71% for the physical goals of 140 priority actions scheduled for the first half of 2026. These results were presented by the State Secretariat of Planning and Management (Seplag) during a public hearing at the Legislative Assembly.

Out of 668 total products in the state planning, 140 were designated as priority under the 2026 Budgetary Guidelines Law (LDO). Sandro Brandão, Deputy Secretary of Planning and Digital Government, noted that monitoring these goals allows the administration to evaluate public policies and make informed management decisions, acknowledging that execution rates vary by sector due to seasonality.

In the area of public security, Secretary Suzane Tamanho reported an intensification of integrated operations against crime involving state and federal forces since April 2026. Additionally, investments in security infrastructure between 2019 and 2026 reached 133% of the established target. A new headquarters for the Civil Police General Directorate is preliminarily expected to be delivered by November 18, 2026.
