Mato Grosso launches school enrollment registration and journalism award promotion

In Mato Grosso, the State Secretariat of Education (Seduc-MT) has opened the registration and update period for the 2027 Matrícula Web system. This initial phase allows parents, guardians, and students to create or update login credentials required to request state school vacancies for the upcoming academic year.

Specific enrollment timelines have been established: special education students (PAEDE) may request vacancies from October 1 to 16. In Cuiabá, the request period runs from October 5 to 16, while other municipalities in the state will conduct enrollment from October 6 to 16. The system is intended for new students, those returning after dropping out, or those seeking transfers.

Separately, representatives from the Mato Grosso Legislative Assembly (ALMT) visited the Journalism course at the State University of Mato Grosso (Unemat) in Tangará da Serra. The visit aimed to encourage students to participate in the 2nd edition of the Troféu Parlamento journalism award. The competition, themed ‘Where the law is born, citizenship grows’, accepts university-level entries until November 9 to highlight the impact of legislative decisions on citizens.
