Mato Grosso Legislative Assembly opens II Journalism Award registrations

The Assembleia Legislativa do Estado de Mato Grosso (ALMT) has opened registrations for the second edition of the ALMT Journalism Award – Troféu Parlamento. The competition is open until November 9, 2026.

Under the theme ‘Where the law is born, citizenship grows’, the award aims to recognize journalistic work that demonstrates the impact of legislative decisions on the daily lives of citizens in Mato Grosso. The contest features five distinct categories, including a university category, to encourage diverse media formats and new talent.

Winners in each category will receive cash prizes: R$ 30,000 for first place, R$ 20,000 for second, and R$ 10,000 for third, along with trophies. Other selected works will receive commemorative plaques.
