Mato Grosso Legislative Assembly ranks fifth in Brazil for social‑media interactions

The Assembleia Legislativa de Mato Grosso (ALMT) placed fifth among Brazil's state legislatures for social‑media engagement in the first half of 2026, recording 179,675 interactions across its official accounts, according to data released by the Social Media Gov platform.

Colonel Henrique Santos, the Assembly’s Secretary of Social Communication, said the result demonstrates the body’s growing connection with citizens. The ranking puts ALMT ahead of assemblies in Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Ceará and Amazonas, reflecting coordinated work by the communication team, including the networks, journalism, photography, TV and radio units.
