Mato Grosso Legislative Assembly launches free second‑semester courses
The Escola e Memória do Legislativo of the Assembly of Mato Grosso opened enrollment for its free courses for the second semester of 2026. Registrations are open until the first week of August and are available to public servants and the general public.
The program offers a range of classrooms, including a Spanish reading club, citizenship and heritage workshops, Spanish language courses (beginner, intermediate and ENEM preparation), History and Historiography of Mato Grosso, Official Writing and Simple Language, and a Redação for the ENEM exam. Each class provides 39 seats, except the ENEM writing course, which limits enrollment to ten participants. All courses are presencial, last between 30 and 70 hours, and grant certificates upon completion.
A new auto‑enrollment feature on the EAD platform now allows immediate registration for the Portuguese, Spanish and English language classes. The initiative, explained by school secretary Marcela Bruna Vieira Castro, aims to expand professional qualification, promote citizenship, and simplify the enrollment process for a wider audience.
