Mato Grosso's Supreme Judicial School adds 36 trainers and starts school climate program

The Escola Superior da Magistratura de Mato Grosso (Esmagis‑MT) issued Portaria n.º 9/2026, expanding its Quadro de Formadores with 36 new members – seven magistrates and 29 career servants – who are now registered in the National Trainers Bank (BNF) managed by the Escola Nacional de Formação e Aperfeiçoamento de Magistrados (Enfam). The decree follows Enfam resolution 6/2025 and aims to strengthen the judiciary’s internal training network, enabling the new trainers to deliver initial and continuing education, supervise research, and contribute to academic production nationwide.

In parallel, beginning 29 July, Esmagis‑MT, through its Centro de Estudos Integrados em Meio Ambiente (Cesima), will launch the project “Cesima nas Escolas: Meio Ambiente, Clima e Futuro – Responsabilidade de Todos.” The initiative will bring environmental and climate‑change education to public schools in the municipalities of Cuiabá, Várzea Grande, Santo Antônio de Leverger and Chapada dos Guimarães, with activities scheduled through June 2027. Coordinated by Judge Henriqueta Fernanda Chaves Alencar Ferreira Lima, the program involves partners such as the state judiciary, public prosecutor’s office, public defender’s office, federal and state universities, and environmental agencies.
