Mato Grosso magistracy school launches new law journal edition and airs judge interview

On June 15, the Escola Superior da Magistratura de Mato Grosso (Esmagis-MT) will launch the third edition of the journal *Interface Direito e Sociedade*. The publication is produced in partnership with the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT) and the State University of Mato Grosso – Cáceres Campus (Unemat) as part of Esmagis-MT’s 41‑year anniversary programme. The edition contains scholarly articles on constitutional law, women's protection, big‑data impacts on the judiciary, participatory architecture, organized crime, and other contemporary legal topics. The editorial team is led by professor Anglizey Solivan de Oliveira, with scientific editor judge Antônio Veloso Peleja Júnior and assistant editors Carlos Eduardo Silva de Souza, Maria Cristina Martins de Figueiredo Bacovis, among others.

A few days earlier, on June 12, Esmagis-MT broadcast the 48th edition of the TV program “Por dentro da Magistratura”, featuring an interview with judge Agamenon Alcântara Moreno Júnior, the secretary‑general of the Mato Grosso Court of Justice. Alcântara discussed institutional management, digital transformation of the judiciary, and the need for proactive, pre‑processual mediation to reduce judicialization. The program was produced in collaboration with the state judiciary’s communication coordination.
