The states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul are experiencing significant economic shifts driven by industrial expansion, logistics, and the cellulose sector.

In Mato Grosso, the industrial sector is growing, creating an urgent need for professional qualification. According to the Industrial Work Map by the CNI, approximately 210,000 workers will require training between 2026 and 2027. This includes 31,000 new professionals and 179,000 current employees needing to upskill in areas such as logistics, agriculture, and construction to keep pace with technological advancements.

In Mato Grosso do Sul, economic growth is outpacing the national average. Campo Grande is projected to see a GDP growth of 2.5% by 2026, supported by municipal policies aimed at reducing bureaucracy and digitalizing construction permits. In the eastern region, investments in the cellulose industry, led by companies like Suzano and Arauco, are driving employment and local commerce. Additionally, cities like Dourados are seeing increased real estate verticalization due to rising investment capacity and improved logistics via the Bioceanic Route.
