Mato Grosso police seize R$16.7k and drugs in Sinop, arrest fuel station robbers in Cuiabá

The Tactical Force of the 3rd Regional Command of the Mato Grosso Military Police arrested two men and a woman linked to a criminal faction in Sinop on July 9. Officers recovered tablets and portions of illicit drugs and seized R$16,700 in cash believed to be proceeds of drug sales. The suspects used a silver HB20 vehicle and a Biz motorcycle during the operation.

In Cuiabá the same police unit captured two men who had robbed several fuel stations during the early hours of July 9. Surveillance footage showed the duo entering a station, demanding service, stealing cash from the register and fleeing. Police located the Nissan Versa used in the crimes, seized a knife and R$297 in cash, and arrested the suspects.

Separately, the Tactical Force of the 4th Regional Command detained a 28‑year‑old woman in Rondonópolis after discovering six kilograms of marijuana in her residence. The operation followed a tip about a local drug‑selling point and resulted in the seizure of multiple marijuana tablets and portions.
