Mato Grosso Prosecutor and Military Officer Awarded Police Tactical Merit Medal

On Thursday, the 6th, prosecutor Bruno Barros Pereira of the Colniza Public Prosecutor's Office and Lieutenant‑Colonel Leonardo Leite de Amorim of the Institutional Security Office of the Mato Grosso Public Ministry received the Medalha Mérito Tático Policial, the highest award granted by the Batalhão de Rondas Ostensivas Tático Móvel (Rotam) of the Mato Grosso Military Police.

The ceremony was held in the auditorium of the capital’s Justice Promotoria headquarters and was attended by security‑force representatives, public officials and invited guests. The medal, established by State Decree No. 626 on 6 July 2016, recognises individuals and institutions that have made significant contributions to the development and strengthening of Rotam’s specialized tactical patrol activities in the state.
