Mato Grosso institutions launch integrity and strategic planning initiatives

Public institutions in Mato Grosso, Brazil, are implementing several strategic administrative and educational initiatives. The Civil Police of Mato Grosso is launching an Integrity Plan via a seminar in Cuiabá to strengthen ethics, transparency, and compliance within the service, aiming to prevent fraud and corruption.

Simultaneously, the Public Prosecutor's Office of Mato Grosso (MPMT) is focused on long-term planning. The institution is conducting workshops to build its 2027-2028 General Action Plan and has called for units to submit educational activity proposals for its 2027 training plan.

Additionally, the MPMT participated in a technical meeting organized by the Court of Accounts of Mato Grosso (TCE-MT) to discuss the impacts of tax reform on municipalities. The discussion emphasized the need for institutional integration to combat tax evasion and manage the transition to the new tax system.
