Mato Grosso State Court Expands 'Judiciary Cup' to Second Instance

The Tribunal de Justiça de Mato Grosso (TJMT) launched the second‑instance phase of its "Copa do Judiciário" campaign, using a sticker‑album format to track progress toward the Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ) Quality Seal. The virtual event on 9 May involved more than 120 judges and court staff.

President of the TJMT, Desembargador José Zuquim Nogueira, said the initiative "transforms goals, indicators and institutional achievements into a light‑hearted dynamic that can engage magistrates, staff and teams." Corregedor‑geral Desembargador José Luiz Leite Lindote added that the programme, inspired by the football World Cup, aims to keep judges united in pursuit of better results. The court’s current projection has risen from an estimated 78 % of the CNJ prize score to above 84 %, targeting the 85 % threshold needed for the Diamond Quality Seal for a second consecutive year. The Planning Coordination will monitor the album’s completion across all units to help the TJMT achieve the coveted seal.
