Mato Grosso teacher credits salary increases for improved financial stability

During a political meeting in Rondonópolis, teacher Roselene Viana Ferreira credited the salary increases and the Annual Efficiency and Results Gratification (GR) implemented during Mauro Mendes's administration for her improved financial stability. Ferreira stated that after four years working for the state education network, she was able to purchase a house and a car, goals she could not achieve during her 12 years in municipal service.

Ferreira, a teacher at the Escola Estadual Cívico-Militar Professora Amélia de Oliveira Silva, noted that the increased income has also allowed her to afford private medical treatment for her daughter. The report also highlighted that Mato Grosso's education ranking improved from 22nd to 6th place in the national Ideb ranking, attributed to investments in infrastructure, technology, and student exchange programs.
