Mato Grosso toll rates on MT-246 increase by 4.6%
Toll rates for the MT-246 highway concession in Mato Grosso have increased by 4.6% as of September 1, 2026. The basic fare rose from R$ 10.90 to R$ 11.40 across the four toll plazas managed by the concessionaire Via Brasil MT-246.
The adjustment was approved by the State Agency for Regulation of Delegated Public Services of Mato Grosso (AGER-MT) following a regulatory session in late August. The increase is an annual adjustment stipulated in the 30-year concession contract to account for inflation and ensure service sustainability.
The concession covers a total of 233.2 kilometers and includes segments of highways MT-246, MT-343, MT-358, and MT-480, serving municipalities such as Tangará da Serra, Nova Olímpia, and Barra do Bugres.
