Mato Grosso’s Esmagis Celebrates 41st Anniversary, Highlights Training and New Secretary-General
The Escola Superior da Magistratura of Mato Grosso (Esmagis-MT) marked its 41st anniversary on 13 June 2026, reporting 99 pedagogical actions—including courses, seminars and virtual events—totaling 3,770 hours of training for judges, magistrates and court personnel. The program is overseen by Director‑General Desembargador Márcio Vidal and Vice‑Director Anglizey Solivan de Oliveira, with coordination by Judge Antônio Veloso Peleja Júnior and Secretariat led by Claudia Regina Duarte Bezerra Candia.
In a separate interview for the 48th edition of "Por Dentro da Magistratura," the newly appointed secretary‑general of the Mato Grosso State Court, Judge Agamenon Alcântara Moreno Júnior, reflected on his career path, the evolution of the judiciary, and the importance of technology. He emphasized that artificial intelligence is now a necessity for the courts to stay aligned with global systems and highlighted the role of the secretary‑general in creating a new governance model for the court’s administration.
