Mato Leitão educators visit APAE to strengthen special education coordination

Education professionals from the Mato Leitão Municipal Secretariat of Education, Culture, and Sports visited the APAE in Venâncio Aires to strengthen cooperation regarding special education services.

The visit brought together teachers from Specialized Educational Services (AEE) and municipal multidisciplinary teams to exchange experiences and discuss student support strategies. Key topics included conducting case studies and developing Individualized Educational Plans (PEI) and Specialized Educational Service Plans (PAEE).

Through this visit, professionals gained a deeper understanding of the institution's facilities and operational workflows, aiming to improve the coordination between municipal schools and the institution to better serve students with specific needs.
