Matsunoya and Karayama announce new seasonal menu items
Japanese food chains Matsunoya and Karayama have announced new seasonal menu items for late September 2026.
Matsunoya will release its 'Back Fat Ginger Sauce Rib Loin Pork Fried Steak Set' starting September 30 at 15:00. The menu features aged chilled pork coated in flour and fried, served with a rich sauce made of back fat and ginger, accompanied by mayonnaise. The company is also offering combination sets that include loin cutlet or fried chicken for 1,090 yen.
Karayama will launch its 'Black Pepper Tori-ten Lemon Steak Set' on September 25. This iron plate menu features crispy chicken tempura seasoned with black pepper, served with a special sauce of lemon and soy sauce, finished with butter. Prices for the set are 1,089 yen in standard stores and 1,090 yen at locations using ticket machines.
