Matsuya and Matsunoya debut new pork and chicken set meals in Japan

Matsuya began selling a limited‑time "回鍋肉定食" (stir‑fry pork set) on 14 July. The meal is priced at ¥880 and includes rice available in four sizes, a choice of kimchi or soft‑boiled egg, and a revamped Chinese‑style sauce. Social media users praised the dish, calling it “ご飯泥棒” (“rice thief”) and noting its rich flavor and generous portions.

Matsunoya introduced a "肉厚チキンむねかつ" (thick chicken breast cutlet) with garlic‑butter sauce on 15 July. The set is sold for ¥890, with the cutlet alone at ¥590 and the sauce at ¥150. The chicken is described as moist and lightly breaded, paired with a deep‑flavored garlic‑butter sauce, and is offered in combos with roast pork, fried shrimp, or other items. The launch has also generated online interest for its summer‑friendly taste.
