Matsuya launches new Chicken Nanban and Hiyajiru menu items
Matsuya has launched its new Chicken Nanban Teishoku and a specialty Hiyajiru Chicken Nanban Set nationwide, starting August 18. The menu items draw inspiration from Miyazaki Prefecture's local cuisine.
The Chicken Nanban Teishoku is priced at 980 yen and includes fried chicken with sweet vinegar sauce and tartar sauce, served with fresh vegetables, rice, and miso soup. Customers can upgrade rice portions for free.
The premium Hiyajiru Chicken Nanban Set is priced at 1,300 yen. This set replaces miso soup with Hiyajiru, a traditional chilled soup made with dashi, sesame, and vegetables. While more expensive than Matsuya's standard offerings, the set was previously available in limited locations before its nationwide rollout.
