Matsuya reintroduces seasonal pork and eggplant spicy miso menu

Matsuya, a major Japanese restaurant chain, has launched its seasonal ‘Pork and Eggplant Spicy Miso Stir-fry Set Meal’ starting September 8. This menu item has been a staple autumn offering for the company since 2008.

The dish features pork loin, eggplant, and onions seasoned with a rich, spicy miso sauce. It is priced at 880 yen (tax included), with a double portion available for 1,370 yen. Following its release, the menu has received significant positive attention on social media, with customers praising the flavor profile and its compatibility with rice.

In specific regions like Higashiomi City, Shiga Prefecture, Matsuya locations have recently undergone updates, such as the Gokasho branch, which now operates alongside the Matsunoya brand to offer a wider variety of fried cutlet dishes.
