Matsuya to renew Gyubinbondon menu with new sauce

Matsuya is renewing its signature ‘Gyubinbondon’ menu item starting September 1 at 10:00 AM. The update features a new ‘Bibin sauce’ made with reduced-salt soy sauce and Sichuan doubanjiang, designed to create a milder flavor profile that highlights the taste of the beef.

Despite the recipe change, prices will remain the same: 660 yen for small, 690 yen for regular, and 910 yen for large portions. The new sauce will also be used in the ‘Negi-tappuri Umakara Negitama Gyumeshi’ menu item. To celebrate the launch, the Matsuya official app will offer a 50 yen discount coupon for both items from September 1 to September 8.
