Matt Bellamy files for divorce from Elle Evans

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has filed for divorce from his wife, Elle Evans, in a Los Angeles court. The filing cites “irreconcilable differences” and comes shortly after the couple's seventh wedding anniversary.

Bellamy is seeking sole legal and physical custody of the couple's two children: their six-year-old daughter, Lovella, and two-year-old son, George. The filing also requests that spousal support be awarded to Evans in accordance with their premarital agreement.

Evans has stated she intends to fight for custody of the children, describing the marriage as “unbearable.” Bellamy previously addressed their separation in a June interview, noting that the split occurred in the summer of 2025 and had been an unexpected and difficult situation.
