Matt Fitzpatrick enters Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in peak form

Matt Fitzpatrick has described his current form as the ‘best period of golf I’ve played,’ noting strong performances in recent rounds at The Open and the Scottish Open. Ahead of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, the Englishman is considered a betting favorite.

His brother, Alex Fitzpatrick, is also competing and has expressed a desire to play in the Ryder Cup, specifically targeting Adare as a goal for next year.

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship features a unique format where professionals are paired with amateurs, rotating through the Old Course at St Andrews, Carnoustie, and Kingsbarns. Other notable competitors in the field include Robert MacIntyre, Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrrell Hatton, and Brooks Koepka.
