Matt Fitzpatrick leads FedEx Open de France after second-round 64

Matt Fitzpatrick has taken the overnight lead at the FedEx Open de France at Le Golf National after carding a bogey-free 64 in the second round. The 32-year-old sits at 13-under par, one shot ahead of Denmark’s Jeff Winther, who also shot a 64.

Defending champion Michael Kim remains in contention at 11-under par following a 68. Other notable performers include Marcel Siem, who moved to 9-under with a bogey-free 64 to sit in a tie for sixth place.

Australian Jason Scrivener is currently tied for 11th at 7-under, while former champion Cam Smith sits at two-over par following a difficult finish to his second round.
