Matt Fitzpatrick wins FedEx Open de France

Matt Fitzpatrick secured victory at the FedEx Open de France, held at Le Golf National in Paris. The Englishman maintained a consistent performance throughout the tournament, finishing with a total of 264 strokes, 20-under par.

Fitzpatrick held a five-stroke lead after 54 holes and managed his final round conservatively to withstand challenges from competitors such as Eugenio López Chacarra and Kristoffer Reitan. The win marks a significant comeback for Fitzpatrick following recent struggles in major tournaments and positions him well for the conclusion of the DP World Tour season.

Spanish golfer Angel Hidalgo finished in solo second place with a total of 17-under par. Local players Matthieu Pavon and Tom Vaillant tied for third place.
