Matt Hardy told listeners that TNA did not falsely advertise the Jeff Hardy versus Nic Nemeth World Championship match. The bout was taped on July 30 at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia and will air on the August 13 episode, not on the live Impact broadcast that night.

Hardy said the promotion advertised the match in advance to sell tickets to the local Philadelphia audience, noting that the ads explicitly indicated whether a match would be on the live show. Champion Nic Nemeth later acknowledged the confusing wording and accepted responsibility for the miscommunication, while Hardy emphasized that the match occurred as advertised for the live crowd.
