Matt Lang launches new album Ain't That Bad in Montreal

Country singer Matt Lang hosted a sold-out album launch event for his new project, ‘Ain’t That Bad’, at the MTELUS in Montreal on Friday, October 23, 2026. The performance featured high-energy production elements, including pyrotechnics, lasers, and a stage set designed to resemble an American motel complete with vintage vehicles.

The new album follows a narrative concept inspired by a ‘hangover’ theme, developed by Vickye Morin and Joëlle Proulx. The musical project is supported by a series of six music videos that tell a continuous story.

During the event, Nashville-based artist Tim Hicks joined Lang on stage to perform their collaboration, ‘That Kinda Life’. The audience participated in the themed event by following a pre-event request to wear leopard print clothing.
