Marvel Studios unveiled a new teaser for Spider‑Man: Brand New Day, showing Tom Holland’s adult Peter Parker four years after the events of No Way Home. The trailer reveals a darker, street‑level Peter protecting New York alone, confronting a physical evolution and a mysterious new threat. The film, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, will open in theatres on July 31 (July 30 in some markets) and has already broken view‑count records for its first‑look video.

A week earlier, Disney+ released the Marvel Special Presentation The Punisher: One Last Kill. Jon Bernthal returns as Frank Castle, who after eliminating the Gnucci crime family is haunted by trauma, visions, and a bounty placed on his head. The 44‑minute special features a cameo appearance by Deborah Ann Woll as a hallucinatory Karen Page, and includes practical stunts that were partially enhanced with a digital face‑swap, sparking online debate about the CGI quality. Director Reinaldo Marcus Green explains that the special also serves as a bridge to Spider‑Man: Brand New Day, establishing Castle’s psychological state before his hinted crossover with Peter Parker.

Together, the two releases highlight Marvel’s focus on gritty, street‑level heroes and set up narrative connections for the upcoming MCU phase.
