The images have sparked fan speculation that the cold setting points toward the classic villain Mr. Freeze (Victor Fries) as a possible antagonist, though no official confirmation has been given. Reeves also confirmed that production is moving forward, with camera tests already underway and principal photography slated to begin on May 29 in the United Kingdom, using studios such as Leavesden and locations in Liverpool and Glasgow.
