Regarding the live-action film franchise, Robert Pattinson has revealed that the upcoming sequel, The Batman 2, will feature a radical reinterpretation of the character. Pattinson noted that the script represents a significant departure from the first film. Furthermore, the sequel will remain independent of James Gunn’s new DC Universe (DCU), allowing Reeves to maintain a distinct creative direction for his version of the Dark Knight.
